You are welcome once again to Jdsignate Blogs, I hope you were blessed by the previous post that was dropped earlier. If you have not seen or read that post, then I advise you head down to that post and read it, today we are not talking about doctrines of the bible that is a series that will be continued but other things can still intersect it. just like what we are doing today. We are going to be giving a Christian motivational message. Which is centered on FAITH. It goes thus,……..

 

The bible gives a perfect definition of faith in Hebrews 11 vs 1, I quote “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” This verse of the scripture is teaching and compelling us that as Christians for us to understand the word of God, we must (not can or should) but must believe in the personality or phenomenon we can’t see. as it says, “THINGS NOT SEEN”. Since as Christians we believe in a God we have never seen before and certain phenomenon we have not seen or experienced.

 

But wait, you may ask? what can we call a Christian without faith or a person who does not believe in things he has not seen, well, we can call that Christian a doubting Thomas and also nothing. Because if you don’t believe in Christ, you have removed him from the picture, therefore if you remove Christ from the word Christian you have IAN, which is I Am Nothing. Also, that kind of Christian will not be able to grow as when he reads the bible, he will not even believe in what he is reading.

 

Also in Hebrews 11 vs 6, I quote “but without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Also, in verse 3 and 4, it tells us that it was through faith that Abel offered a better sacrifice than Cain, we can see how powerful faith can be, we even see more powerful things that faith can do when we go to Mark 11 vs 22-23, I quote “And Jesus said unto them have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but believe those things which he had said shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” This are one of many of the powerful things you can do when you have faith.

 

Also, in the previous scripture we are taught without faith it is impossible (not difficult not hard) but impossible to please God. We should not allow fears, tribulations and other things that we go through make us lose faith in God.

 

In conclusion, if you are a Christian and you are missing on this privilege that is freely given, then I would advise that you go back to the lord and surrender all to him and put your faith in God and He shall bless you with this gift by his everlasting Grace.
