Grace: The Gift That makes Life Possible
Introduction
The spiritual journey of a person commences with their birth, a transition from the Kingdom of Darkness into the Kingdom of God's Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, as stated in Colossians 1:13. In the boundless kindness and unwavering love of God, we unearth the immeasurable treasures of His grace.
Grace serves as the vessel of salvation for all humanity, offering the possibility of a profound connection with an immortal and supreme being.
In Ephesians 2 (KJV), it is revealed:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast."
Life devoid of the provision made by the Father through His Son Jesus Christ is ultimately fruitless and devoid of eternal value.
Beyond the physical realm in which we find ourselves, there exists a spiritual dimension—a realm where the first shall be last, and the last shall be first. It is a place where our deeds in this earthly vessel are judged.
Grace is an eternal gift that the Father has bestowed upon all of humanity through His Son, Jesus. When we embrace Jesus Christ as our Savior, Lord, Lover, and Companion, we subscribe to God's benevolence and expression of love for us. Indeed, everything that existed before our own existence came into being through Him.
"For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him."
— Colossians 1:16 (KJV)
We cannot navigate life on our own terms, disregarding the need to be guided by the One who brought life into existence. Our existence should be lived for Him and for the fulfillment of His purposes through us.
"And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again."
— 2 Corinthians 5:15 (KJV)
"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
— Galatians 2:20 (KJV)
Jesus promised His disciples a Comforter, a tangible manifestation of His grace residing within us, guiding us to reject ungodliness. This Comforter makes life genuinely possible by leading us in our daily affairs and taking charge of our daily decisions.
Titus 2 (KJV) states:
"11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;"
Our responsibility to Him is to die to self-daily and allow Him to steer the journey of fulfilling the desires of our Lord, Jesus. Life attains its full potential when we relinquish control and place the wheel of our lives in His capable hands, allowing Him to guide us to destinations only He knows.

Salvation by Grace Through Faith
Introduction
Salvation, a profound term resonating within the walls of churches and Christian gatherings, stands as the precious gift acquired and bestowed upon us through the sacrifice of Christ on the cross at Calvary. It is the key to forgiveness of sins and the gateway to the Kingdom of God. This gift, available through the grace of God and received by faith, stands as a testament to God's boundless love for us. Let us delve into the depths of salvation through faith, understanding its significance and embracing its truth.
Understanding Salvation by Grace Through Faith
To grasp salvation by grace through faith, we must first comprehend its essence. This phrase signifies our reliance on God's unmerited favor, graciously offered to us. It entails believing that Jesus alone can redeem, save, and cleanse us from our sins, leading us to accept this divine gift of salvation. While salvation cannot be forced upon us, it is received through the conscious choice to embrace this gift. Our efforts and works cannot earn salvation; rather, we rely on God's grace to attain it.
The Path to Receiving Salvation and Eternal Assurance
Salvation is not a prize seized by force or achievement; it is a gift willingly accepted. We receive salvation and the assurance of eternal life by wholeheartedly embracing it. The gift of salvation is attainable through grace and faith, two vital components bestowed upon us by God. Grace enables us to believe in Christ, and faith empowers us to receive the gift of salvation and the promise of everlasting life.
Responding to God's Grace with Gratitude and Obedience
Our gratitude and obedience naturally flow as responses to God's overwhelming grace. Accepting the gift of salvation demonstrates our obedience and gratitude, expressing our acknowledgment of Christ's sacrifice on our behalf. This act signifies our appreciation for God's grace, marking the beginning of a life lived in alignment with His Word. As we walk in His ways, we not only honor Him but also live out our gratitude for His gift of salvation.
Sharing the Gospel: Extending God's Grace to Others
The gift of salvation is not meant to be hoarded but shared with others. The news about this gift, known as the Gospel, is our calling to proclaim to the world. Sharing the Gospel doesn't always necessitate grand efforts; a simple declaration of "Jesus loves you" can spark a transformation in someone's life. We can also engage in evangelism, reaching out to those who need to hear the message of salvation.
Conclusion
In conclusion, salvation by grace through faith underscores the core of our Christian faith. It is a gift that cannot be earned but is freely given. As recipients of this gift, our response should encompass gratitude, obedience, and an eagerness to share the Gospel with others. Let us treasure the truth that salvation is attainable solely through grace and faith, understanding its depth and embracing its transformative power. As we continue on our journey of faith, may God's wisdom guide us, and may His grace empower us to walk in obedience and share His redemptive love with the world.

Grace upon grace: How God renews us daily
“Those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength”. Biblically, renewal refers to the process of spiritual transformation and restoration that occurs when an individual or community turns back to God and experiences His forgiveness, healing, and restoration.
In the book of 2 Chronicles 7:14, the Bible says, if my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray; and turn from their wicked ways, I will heal them. This scripture symbolizes a process of being renewed . God’s endless supply of mercy love and favor makes our renewal possible.
I would like to quickly dive into the story of Elijah’s renewal. A friend asked me why it is so overwhelming to be a Christian. I sometimes feel that way, and Elijah and many other believers have felt that way at one point or the other of their lives.
Finding Renewal in the Stillness: Elijah’s Story
Have you ever felt like Elijah, overwhelmed and exhausted, wondering if you’re truly making a difference? He even wished to die, and his catchphrase was “I am not better than my fathers”. The prophet Elijah’s story is a powerful reminder that even in our darkest moments, God is present, working to renew and restore us.
A Low Point
After a great victory on Mount Carmel, Elijah faced intense pressure, fear, and burnout. He fled to the wilderness, feeling alone and hopeless (1 Kings 19:1-18). He found himself in a life-threatening situation, and on impulse, fled. Sound familiar? We’ve all been there – drained, discouraged, and doubting our purpose.
God’s Gentle Approach
In the wilderness, God met Elijah in a remarkable way. Instead of dramatic displays of power, God spoke to Elijah in a gentle whisper (1 Kings 19:11-13). This quiet, intimate moment reminds us that God often works in subtle ways, speaking directly to our hearts.
Renewal and Restoration
As Elijah rested and received provision from God, he began to experience renewal. God gave him new assignments and tasks, refocusing his attention on the bigger picture (1 Kings 19:15-18). This reminds us that God’s plans for us are bigger than our current struggles.
Elijah’s experience encourages us to seek God’s renewal and restoration. In the stillness, God speaks, provides, and empowers us to live out our purpose. May we find comfort in His gentle presence, trusting in His goodness and provision.
I would like to add, with this, that renewal happens at that point of our lives that we’re the most broken. If God would renew us, we have to be broken, humble and accept that He holds the keys to our renewal.
In conclusion, it is totally humane to feel low, to have our bad days. But, as Christians, we have an advantage in God’s favor, love and mercy, in that, even when we are down, He brings us up. He daily loads us with benefits. “…and on the third day, He would renew us…”
