Grace: The Gift That makes Life Possible

 Introduction

The spiritual journey of a person commences with their birth, a transition from the Kingdom of Darkness into the Kingdom of God's Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, as stated in Colossians 1:13. In the boundless kindness and unwavering love of God, we unearth the immeasurable treasures of His grace.

Grace serves as the vessel of salvation for all humanity, offering the possibility of a profound connection with an immortal and supreme being.

In Ephesians 2 (KJV), it is revealed:

7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast."

Life devoid of the provision made by the Father through His Son Jesus Christ is ultimately fruitless and devoid of eternal value.

Beyond the physical realm in which we find ourselves, there exists a spiritual dimension—a realm where the first shall be last, and the last shall be first. It is a place where our deeds in this earthly vessel are judged.

Grace is an eternal gift that the Father has bestowed upon all of humanity through His Son, Jesus. When we embrace Jesus Christ as our Savior, Lord, Lover, and Companion, we subscribe to God's benevolence and expression of love for us. Indeed, everything that existed before our own existence came into being through Him.

"For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him."

— Colossians 1:16 (KJV)

We cannot navigate life on our own terms, disregarding the need to be guided by the One who brought life into existence. Our existence should be lived for Him and for the fulfillment of His purposes through us.

"And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again."

— 2 Corinthians 5:15 (KJV)

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

— Galatians 2:20 (KJV)

Jesus promised His disciples a Comforter, a tangible manifestation of His grace residing within us, guiding us to reject ungodliness. This Comforter makes life genuinely possible by leading us in our daily affairs and taking charge of our daily decisions.

Titus 2 (KJV) states:

"11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;"

Our responsibility to Him is to die to self-daily and allow Him to steer the journey of fulfilling the desires of our Lord, Jesus. Life attains its full potential when we relinquish control and place the wheel of our lives in His capable hands, allowing Him to guide us to destinations only He knows.
