What is a force?

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, a force is the capacity to convince or persuade to make a change or take an action. [ emphasis mine].

This simply means that individuals who try to be a force in their time are doing their best to convince  some set of people to make a change or take an action.

Being a force for good is the best that can happen and cannot be erased in the history. People who were known for being a force for bad were never forgotten and this shows us that whatever impact you create, stays long like that footprints on the rock.

In the scriptures, we can trace the activities of some individuals who were a force of good in their generation and their names cannot be erased in the annals of men who made an impact.

In the book of 2Kings, we can see the records of King Josiah, who reign was a force for good on the nation of Judah and because of him, God delayed in His judgement upon the nation.

2Kgs.23.25 - There was no king like him before or after [Josiah] who turned to the Lord with all his heart and all his soul and all his might, according to all the Law of Moses.

This was a record of great force of good. As Christians, it is expedient of us that we be s force of greatness and good that everywhere we turn to can be witnesses of what we have done. This matter of being a force for good is not about us, it is about our Master, Jesus Christ, who has set the pace up for us.

We are meant to be forces of greatness as it has been commanded by our Master, Jesus Christ, that we would be His witnesses all over the nations and everywhere we found ourselves as Christians. Lagging behind in this command means we have not discovered that which our Master had commanded.

Steps to become a force for good.

1. God Factor

Making a difference in the world is not possible without God. This is the number one person that individuals who desires to make an impact and be a force for good must strive to get connected with first.

As Christians, we are not expected to leave God out of our interest to make a difference in the world. He must be included. Without Him, making a difference would be impossible.

2. Vision.

Vision is a mental picture of why, what and who we are meant to be as individuals on earth. This is the number one step to becoming a force for good. Vision enables individuals to see, to go and to press further when they are on the journey of their life.

3. Purpose

This is the reason for existence of every humans with veins and blood running through them.  The scriptures affirmed this is the book of Jeremiah.

Jer.1.5 - Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], land before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.

Our purpose in life enables us to make a difference and be a force for good. It is important to discover it as it will enable the visions that we have.

4. Determination

This the driving force for visions. When determination is present, visions will be made visible. Without determination, visions won't be driven and the visioner, will be tired quickly.

Be determined to do and set goals.

5. Relationships.

This is essential as it plays a vital role on making a difference in life. Value every godly relationship that you find yourself in and don't underestimate any one. Humans are social beings, therefore it is impossible to do well without being involved in a relationship with other.
