God is one to be known as the Ancient of days, He has been around even before the dawn of time itself, time is even one of His creations. So to say He has been faithful through the ages is no mere thought or empty phrase, it’s one which should be held with extreme value by the fact of that statement “Faithful through the Ages” because He has indeed been around and faithful through and before time, He doesn’t owe us anything, we owe Him everything, yet He continues to love us unconditionally, and remains faithful. Just as He is never ending so is His love of which stems out His faithfulness to us.
Imagine having such a supreme being, the highest of them all, being undoubtedly faithful to you even when you doubt it, He looks at us as the crown of His creation, we fell and yet He sent His only Son to pay the ultimate sacrifice for us, how faithful can someone be to be that devoted? how much love will one have to have? well in all fact God is Love, so faithfulness will run though from Him like a never ending river, one that beginning and ends in God’s being.
His faithfulness isn’t just talk, the Bible has different examples of His faithfulness being shown ranging from God’s redemption plan, to Him coming back to take us with Him during the rapture, some others include Daniel making in out of the Lion’s den, the three Hebrew friends, even Job after he suffered, God in his timeless and never ending faithfulness still restored Job not to his former state but to an even better one.
His faithfulness has been proven, and shown through even the confines of time, so there shouldn’t be any doubt in your mind of how faithful God is, so if He tells you to also reciprocate your love by being faithful to Him, should there be a call to hesitate? No. You should do it without hesitating, whether you believe it or not God is the same yesterday, today and forever. The same God who was faithful to us to still have a plan and execute it for our redemption even after we failed Him is the same one today.
He is faithful to you, be faithful to Him.
Shalom Shalom.
