Faith beyond feeling: Trusting God in the dry season.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. In this Kingdom, the currency we spend is faith... the ability to stand and wait on the promises of God until they come to fulfillment in our lives.

Scripture says, the just shall live by faith, and without faith, it's impossible to please the Lord.

So the question is:

How much do you trust God to bring his promises to reality in your life? How deeply do you rely on His promises?

Do you really believe that He is capable and that He enough to guide you rightly?

To stand on the promises of God and hold on to them till they are fulfilled, faith is not just required, it is significant. When you dwell deeply in God, you develop the right posture in Him.  And when that posture is formed, standing in Him and for Him even in difficult times becomes easier.

There are men and women in Scripture who lived by faith lived.

 Abraham.

The story of this father of faith shows us that being a child of God  doesn't exempt you from trials.  He was called a friend of God, yet he had to wait for hears for the promise  of God to be fulfilled in his life.  Even when it didn't make sense, his faith didn't waver.  He stood firm, and in the end, God came through.

In those situations, when it seems God is nowhere to be found, when it seems His ears are deaf to your prayers, seek His face and wait on Him. It's safe to trust Him. There is an assurance of hope that comes from relying on Him.

Hannah.

She was a woman who poured out her soul in prayer. Through faith and sacrifice, she waited and God answered her. He turned her sorrow into rejoicing. So when it feels like God is silent…When it seems like your prayers are unheard…Seek Him still and wait on Him. It is safe to trust Him. There is a deep assurance that comes from relying on God.

Listen, No condition is too hard for God. Even you hardest seasons will become softened by His grace. In the journey of life, hold on to Him. In the storm of life, hold on to Him even when things begin to get better, hold on to Him still. Dry seasons will come, to shake us, try our strength and test our faith in God. But as a true believer in Jesus Christ, remember this, when you walk through the fire, He is with you. When you pass through the waters, He's by your side. It's not always easy. It is often hard to keep your your gaze on Him in difficult moments. But hold on to this truth and find peace.

He has you in mind and will never fail you. He loves you unconditionally and deeply. The enemy may try to weaken your trust, to make your heart weary, but do not give in. Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

There is an assurance of a greater love in God.

Do not be dismayed. Do not be afraid. He is with you.
